Robert J. Wheelock

Attorney and Founding Member

Founding Member of The Wheelock Law Firm, LLC, Mr. Wheelock received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his Juris Doctor from Western New England College, where he was a member of the law review. Mr. Wheelock was admitted to The Connecticut Bar and subsequently to The Florida Bar. Mr. Wheelock served in the U.S. Navy submarine service and as a Navy Judge Advocate. He has been Chief Trial Counsel for Military Justice, a Staff Judge Advocate for naval hospitals, and worked in Washington D.C. in Admiralty Law for The Judge Advocate General of the Navy.

Mr. Wheelock has had the pleasure and honor of representing service personnel in all the uniformed services around the globe. He has represented thousands of clients on military justice matters, court martials, military divorce matters including: division of military pensions, administrative discharge boards, and medical boards. Mr. Wheelock has provided services in numerous areas of law including Wills, Child Custody and Child Support, Divorce and Premarital Agreements, Spousal Support and Visitation Rights. He has lectured and authored on the subject of the Military Pension Division since it’s inception and has been qualified by the courts as a expert in military pension division matters in family law.
